Abigail Nissen Inducted into Earth Sciences Honors Society

Abigail M.W. Nissen was inducted into Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the national honorary society for earth sciences, at St. Lawrence University.

Nissen is a member of the Class of 2017 and is majoring in English. Nissen attended Emma Willard School.

Sigma Gamma Epsilon was established to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the earth sciences. Its focus is on the scholastic, scientific and professional advancement of its members as well as the extension of relations of friendship and assistance among colleges and universities devoted to the advancement of the earth sciences, including the Eta Xi chapter at St. Lawrence.
