Allison L. Paludi, of Delanson, Awarded St. Lawrence University 2013 Internship Fellowship

2013 Jun 25

Allison L. Paludi, of Delanson, is the recipient of a 2013 St. Lawrence University Internship Fellowship Award.

Established in 1997, the Internship Fellowship Award is designed to promote leadership and career development opportunities for undergraduate students. Awarded to a St. Lawrence University student who has secured an internship, including structured career development or research opportunities for the upcoming winter of summer break, this award is intended to help offset the cost of living and travel/transportation expenses incurred during the student's internship experience. Funds may also potentially cover income replacement if adequate need is demonstrated.

A member of the Class of 2014, Paludi is majoring in global studies. Paludi graduated from Duanesburg Central School.

The interns were chosen from a competitive field of candidates who completed an extensive application process, including multi-stage interviews.

Located in Canton, N.Y., St. Lawrence University is a coeducational, private, independent liberal arts institution of about 2,400 students, founded in 1856. The educational opportunities at St. Lawrence inspire students and prepare them to be critical and creative thinkers, to find a compass for their lives and careers, and to pursue knowledge and understanding for the benefit of themselves, humanity and the planet. Through its focus on active engagement with ideas in and beyond the classroom, a St. Lawrence education leads students to make connections that transform lives and communities, from the local to the global.
