Anna Kowanko Selected for Sociology Honorary Society at St. Lawrence University

Anna J. Kowanko of Upper Jay has been selected for membership into Alpha Kappa Delta, the international sociology honorary society, at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

Kowanko is a member of the Class of 2016 and is majoring in environmental studies-sociology. She graduated from Keene Central School.

To be eligible for membership, students must have an overall grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 and a 3.5 GPA in four or more sociology courses.
