Ashley Richardson of Hempstead Graduates from St. Lawrence University

Ashley E. Richardson of Hempstead was one of nearly 600 students who were awarded bachelor degrees from St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies held on May 17 in Canton, New York.

Richardson received the degree of bachelor of arts cum laude. Richardson is a member of the Class of 2015 and majored in English. Richardson graduated from Uniondale High School.

Four honorary degree recipients spoke during St. Lawrence University's Commencement, including award-winning songwriter Judy Hart Angelo, hedge fund pioneer John M. Angelo, chair of the Baseball Hall of Fame Jane Clark, and garden historian Peter Hatch.
