Charles Brophy Participates in St. Lawrence University's Summerterm Abroad

Charles Brophy, of Beverly, studied in Ireland this summer as a participant in St. Lawrence University's Summerterm course there. A member of the class of 2011 at St. Lawrence, in Canton, New York, Brophy is a graduate of St. John's Prep School.

Participants took two courses, Nationalism, Peace, and Conflict; and Literature, Popular Memory and Place. The courses included time spent in Dublin, Galway City, Connemara and the Aran Islands, as well as Belfast and Derry in Northern Ireland.

Brophy is a Government major at St. Lawrence.
