Erika Swits Participates in St. Lawrence University's Summerterm Abroad

Erika Swits, of Ballston Spa, studied in Ireland this summer as a participant in St. Lawrence University's Summerterm course there. A member of the class of 2012 at St. Lawrence, in Canton, New York, Swits is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Balston Lake High School.

Participants took two courses, Nationalism, Peace, and Conflict; and Literature, Popular Memory and Place. The courses included time spent in Dublin, Galway City, Connemara and the Aran Islands, as well as Belfast and Derry in Northern Ireland.

Swits is a Chemistry major at St. Lawrence.
