Janelle Dillon Awarded St. Lawrence University's Presidential Diversity Scholarship

2016 Feb 8

Janelle C. Dillon of Kingston, Jamaica has been awarded the prestigious Presidential Diversity Scholarship at St. Lawrence University.

Dillon attended Wolmers High School for Girls. She is a member of the Class of 2019 at St. Lawrence.

The Presidential Diversity Scholarship was first awarded in 2000-2001 to encourage further diversity in the student body and thereby ultimately enhance educational benefits for all students. The program, which pays a substantial portion of a students cost of attendance for four years, has since expanded to include students of any racial background who have demonstrated commitment to, and appreciation for, racial and ethnic diversity.
