Katarina Marczeski Participated in St. Lawrence University's First-Ever SLU Connect Albany Program

Katarina Marczeski of Santa Ana, CA, was one of 19 St. Lawrence University students who participated in the St. Lawrence University Connect Albany program.

Marczeski is a member of the Class of 2017 and is majoring in psychology and government. Marczeski graduated from Sonora High School.

Students who participated in the program met with several St. Lawrence University alumni, including Gary Dake '82, president of Stewart's Shops, Tom Caulfield '81, senior vice president and general manager of GlobalFoundries semiconductor manufacturing facility in Saratoga Springs, William Barclay '92, New York Assemblyman, Kate Hogan '85 P'20, Warren County District Attorney, Marion Roach Smith, St. Lawrence Trustee and author, and Joseph Richardson '63, Trustee Emeritus and operating director for Delta Point Capital Management, as well as Rex Smith, editor of the Albany Times-Union.

SLU Connect Albany builds off of the SLU Connect D.C. program. Launched in 2015, SLU Connect took students to Washington, D.C., to meet with alumni in government and various professions and take part in panel discussions, networking events, site visits and alumni-run workshops.
