Area Students Volunteer At Philadelphia Shelter for Spring Break
Several area residents, students at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, spent their spring break volunteering at St. Francis Inn, a Franciscan living and working community in the inner city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to help in its soup kitchen and women's center.

Area Residents Study In China Through St. Lawrence University Program
The following students were among seven from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, that traveled to China for spring break, to conduct study associated with an education course.
The students all took the course Contemporary Problems in Education. Their study project was titled English Language Instruction and the Globalization of Education: A Pilot Study on the International School Phenomenon in Selected Asian Cities, funded by the Freeman Foundation Undergraduate Asian Studies Initiative.
