Members of the Class of 2028 begin their St. Lawrence adventure as one of the most academically distinguished cohorts in the University's history. Tied with last year's class for the record-high average GPA of 93, and with nearly half graduating in the top 10 percent of their high school classes, these new Laurentians are ready to explore, learn, and make a significant impact within our dynamic and supportive campus community.

St. Lawrence University's student-founded "Close the Loop" club is tackling textile waste with a shared closet concept. The club manages the student-run Barn Good Thrift Store, organizes clothing swaps, and conducts sewing workshops. Recently, Close the Loop received a grant to enhance its operations, promoting economic sustainability.

Nick Lyndaker '26 shattered a 40-year-old St. Lawrence University Track and Field record in the 3,000-meter race at the Fastrack National Invitational this spring. Clocking in at 8:13.87, Lyndaker surpassed the previous record held by Jukka Tammisuo '87.

While navigating Shakespearean literary plots and government structures with her faculty mentor this summer, Sam Cohen '23 discovered connections between power, politics, and the Plebeians. She also gained a new perspective on how exploring the past can offer a critical view of the present.
